Man Arrested for DWI after Driving Wrong Way on the LIE
Suffolk County Police arrested Jericho resident, Stuart Zeiff for driving while intoxicated a little after 1:30 AM this morning. The 64 year old was spotted by Highway Patrol Officer Robert Scudellari, driving the wrong way on the LIE just past Exit 53. The Officer was heading eastbound, near the Sagtikos State Parkway interchange, when he spotted a 2015 Maserati driving westbound in the eastbound HOV lane. early this morning.
At approximately 1:35 AM, Officer Scudelarri pulled over the Maserati. It was determined at that time that Stuart Zeiff was intoxicated. The Highway Patrol Officer issued multiple traffic law violation tickets and was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.
Stuart Zeiff was held at the Fourth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip today.
