Suffolk County Police Fourth Squad detectives are investigating a single-car crash that seriously injured Cynthia Prag on Landing Avenue, in Smithtown, around 2:25 this morning. The 22 year old Smithtown resident, was driving northbound on Landing Avenue, near Cakewalk Terrace, when her vehicle left the roadway and struck a tree. Prag, was transported to Stony Brook University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
The vehicle was impounded for a safety check and the investigation is continuing. Detectives are asking anyone with information on this incident to contact the Fourth Squad at 631-854-8452.
