Week Two Holiday Fun Calendar
We’re back with week two of exciting Holiday events happening around Smithtown in the month of December. From a once in a lifetime concert with worldwide singing sensation, Anthony Kearns to Toy Runs, Trots and Breakfast with Santa, you won’t want to miss the giving season in Smithtown! So mark the calendars and get ready to gear up for fun with our second installation of the Holiday fun guide.
Christmas Concert with International Star, Irish Tenor Anthony Kearns
On Friday, December 2nd, Anthony Kearns will perform with accompanist David George and the St Joseph’s Chamber Choir, starting at 7:30 PM. The member of the Irish Tenors and Worldwide Opera sensation Anthony Kearns is making a special trip to Kings Park’s St. Joseph’s Parish. Beginning at 7:30 PM, enjoy Anthony Kearns as he performs a delightful repertoire of Irish song, popular melodies, and your favorite Christmas Carols, with accompanist David George and the St. Joseph’s Chamber Choir. Breakfast with Santa at the St. James Fire Department
This weekend, The St. James Fire Department, Engine Company #1 will host their annual breakfast with Santa. Bring the cameras and watch the look on your kids face when Santa comes for Breakfast! On Sunday December 4th, from 8 AM to 1 PM, enjoy delicious breakfast buffet including pancakes, sausage, juice, and coffee. Admission is $4 for kids $8 for Adults.

Smithtown Running Company Toy Trot
The Smithtown Running Company is hosting a 3 Mile Prediction run to benefit the John Theissen Children’s Foundation. On Saturday December 10th head over the Smithtown Running for a winter run for a special cause. The Race begins at 11 AM and will run until about 2 PM. Runners simply need to bring a new unwrapped toy to run. Special prizes and awards will go to top predictors. Bagels and drinks will be served after the run. You don’t have to run to give! Smithtown FD Toy Run
Get ready for the Smithtown FD Toy Run to the Stony Brook Children’s Hospital. On Sunday December 18th get ready to ride for a heartwarming cause. Registration is at Smithtown Fire Department from 9 AM – 11 AM. Bring a $20 donation or $10 with a new and unwrapped toy. Get charged up to ride or watch as fire departments from Smithtown, Selden, Centereach, Farmingville, Setauket, Nesconset, Port Jefferson and Ronkonkoma escort Riders to the Chidren’s Hospital at Stony Brook. Kickstands up at 11:15am. Featuring Finger’s from WBAB as the Grand Marshall. Hot Breakfast will be served at Registration, with Coffee and Donuts at the End-site. Special Guest appearances from Wonder Woman & Superman!
