The ninth annual Smithtown Running of the Bull, sponsored by Damianos Realty Group, kicks off at 9:00 AM Saturday, September 27th in Smithtown. Rest assure, the 5k will be a strictly No-Bulls Allowed race, with the exception of one monument and potentially some High School Athletes.
The course is along forested protected park land, providing an enjoyable shaded run the whole way. The flat and long straightaway 5k is a great race for beginners and avid runners alike. Families can partake in a 1k run which begins promptly at 9:45. An award celebration, raffle and plenty of fun activities will commence at the finish line. All proceeds and fundraising for the Running of the Bull goes to benefit The Courtney Sipes Memorial Foundation and Angela’s House for Technology-Dependant Children.
