The 18th Annual Kings Park 15K

Legislator Robert Trotta Welcomes Runners to the 18th Annual Kings Park 15 Kilometer Run

Despite the rain, hundreds of runners came out to run and support the 18th Annual Kings Park 15 Kilometer Run to benefit the Brain Tumor Foundation and the Frank Toto Memorial Scholarship Foundation for Kings Park High School seniors who plan to attend college and pursue a degree in business.

The race is sponsored by Lazer, Aptheker, Rosella & Yedid , Attorneys at Law, as well as additional support from the following Kings Park businesses: Kings Park Physical Therapy, Sullivan & Kehoe LLP, Park Bake Shop, CRK Electrical Contracting, Flynn-Aire, Kings Park Stationers, and Kings Park Florist.

About The the Frank Toto Memorial Scholarship Foundation

Frank Toto’s children, Steven and Jennifer grew up in Kings Park and attended KPHS.  They graduated in 1991 and 1992, respectively, and attended Providence College where they each earned Marketing degrees.  Frank always stressed the importance of education and hard work.  He never allowed his children to cut corners because he knew the amount of effort needed in life to become successful.

The Frank Toto Memorial Scholarship will be awarded each year to a Kings Park High School Senior attending college to pursue a degree in business.  Students are required to write an essay describing their business aspirations and the winner will be chosen by the family.
