Suffolk County Legislator Robert Trotta was invited to address the audience attending the annual LI Cares Legislative Breakfast. Legislator Trotta has visited the center to learn more about the programs it offers and with the help of his constituents, IGA of Fort Salonga and East Northport and Shop & Stop in Smithtown and Northport his office collected over 500 pounds of pet food and supplies for the organization.
“Long Island Cares provides a valuable service to the community and to those who are trying to make ends meet,” said Legislator Robert Trotta.
Legislator Robert Trotta represents the 13th Legislative District, which includes Smithtown, Fort Salonga, Kings Park, San Remo, Nissequogue, Head of the Harbor, and St. James, as well as most of East Northport and parts of Northport and Commack.
Legislator Trotta serves on the Legislature’s Budget & Finance, Education & Information Technology, Health and the Humans Services Committees.
