The Friends of The Smithtown Library have secured a rocking line up for the 12th annual summer concert series. The free concert series is made possible thanks to a grant from Suffolk County, secured by Legislator Robert Trotta. Every Thursday through August 18th, enjoy the very best tribute bands, playing Billboard hit songs from sensations like the Eagles, Tom Petty & Fleetwood Mac, your favorite hits from the 60’s, 70’s and more!
Smithtown Library Summer Concert Line-Up
July 7 – Desert Highway (Eagles Tribute Band)
July 14 – Rick Larrimore (Rod Stewart Tribute)
July 21 – Petty Rumours (Tom Petty & Fleetwood Mac Tribute)
July 28 – Just Sixties (Hits of the 60s)
August 4 – Jimmy Kenney and the Pirate Beach Band (Beach Party Tribute)
August 11 – 45 RPM (Hits of the 70s)
August 18 – Yeehaw (Top 40 Country)
All Shows start at 8PM at the Smithtown Main Building on the Front Lawn
What you should know before you go: While the Summer Concert series starts promptly at 8PM every Thursday evening, it’s recommended that you arrive early to claim a good seat on the lawn. Concert goers should bring chairs or blankets for seating, in addition to bug spray in case the mosquitoes are out! Also, Pets and Smoking are not permitted at the Summer Concert Series.
