Save-A-Pet at St. James Fire Department

Smithtown High School East DECA has enlisted the help of St. James’ bravest to help find homes for rescued animals.  Next Friday, November 6th, all Smithtown residents are invited to the St. James Fire Department Company 1 for a special evening of entertainment, all in the name of a great cause. From 6 PM-9 PM enjoy raffles, giveaways, door prizes, music, food and fun for $10 per person. All the proceeds from the evening will go to Save-A-Pet animal rescue and adoption.

This event couldn’t be made possible if it wasn’t for Smithtown East senior, Janinee Gabrielsen. The Community Service and Personal Relations Coordinator of DECA East was tasked with raising funds for an organization in need. Smithtown Today loves our rescue animals and fully support Janinee and the men and women at St. James Fire Department for bringing awareness to the admirable shelter.

Founded in 1994, Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue is located in Port Jefferson Station, NY with the mission of finding loving homes for mistreated or stray domestic animals. Under the direction of founder/president Dori Scofield, the dedicated staff, volunteers and team of veterinarians have made Save-A-Pet Animal Rescue a safe harbor for companion animals.
