A Kings Park pregnant woman was arrested by Fourth Precinct Patrol officers, Wednesday evening, for driving while impaired by drugs. Danielle Wisnieski, 26, lost control of her 2003 Cadillac Escalade while heading north on Indian Head Road and Old Northport Road in Kings park at approximately 8 PM, Wednesday.
Suffolk County Police Medical Crisis Action Team (MedCAT) paramedics, arrived to the scene of the overturned SUV to administer Narcan to the 26 weeks pregnant woman. Wisnieski was then transported to Stony Brook University Hospital via Suffolk County Police helicopter, where she was treated for minor injuries. Her passenger, Kings Park resident, Randal Jernigan was also transported to Huntington Hospital via Kings Park Rescue. He was treated for minor injuries.
Fourth Precinct Patrol officers arrested Wisnieski and charged her with Driving While Impaired by Drugs. She will be arraigned at a later date at First District Court in Central Islip.
