A group of very talented high school students helped the New York Jets kick off Friday night’s preseason game against the Falcons. On Friday, August 21st, students from the Northport High School Tour Choir performed the National Anthem in an NFL preseason game at MetLife Stadium.
The group of students charged the field through the same tunnel as the New York Jets and gave a stellar performance of the Star Spangled Banner. The New York Jets would agree that the group of singers dressed in green brought a victorious performance to the field, as they beat the Atlanta Falcons in a 30 to 22 win.
Performing in front of the masses is nothing new for these talented students. The Northport High School Tour Choir has toured overseas to London, England this summer in July during an Independence Day celebration.
