Suffolk County Police Pattern Crime Unit detectives are investigating a robbery that occurred at a Setauket bank this afternoon.
A man entered Chase Bank, located a 1395 Route 25A, and demanded money from the teller and threatened the use of a weapon at approximately 12:40 p.m. The teller complied with the man’s demands and the man fled on foot.
The man was described as white, in his early 40s, 5 foot 8 inches tall with a medium to heavy build. The man had bandages on his head and face, was wearing sunglasses and had his arm in a sling.
