Legislator Kennedy Is Out for Blood at Post Holiday Drive
Legislator Kennedy hosted a successful final blood drive of the year, this week, held the Suffolk County Legislature in Hauppauge. Residents all over Suffolk County, came to donate with open arms, in the spirit of the giving season. A total of Thirty-four donors gave lifesaving blood with a special thank you gift especially from Legislator Kennedy.
Each donor received vouchers for two tickets to a Mets Game, during the 2016 season. Local restaurants including McDonalds. Mama Angelina’s, Chipotle, and Moe’s all donated coupons as well as food for donors after giving blood. Legislator Kennedy announced her promise to continue hosting the series into next year at the 12th and final blood drive of 2015.
