For just twenty bucks, Elementary Schoolers, ages 4-10, can party in PJ’s all night (adult supervision provided). The ultimate Valentine’s Day dance soiree for Middle and High Schoolers is a new edition this year. Tickets for the Annual Kisses for Kaylee & Friends Dinner & Dance are $125 per person, when you purchase in advance. ($150 at the door)

“I still wonder who has more fun, the kids or us… parents don’t have to get a babysitter. The kids have their own Party with a DJ and they dress in their pajamas so they can go home and right to bed…   Kaylee’s twin, Emma is now in the 8th grade. So this year we decided to separate the elementary school kids from the middle and high school kids and throw them both their own parties.” – Christine Fitzgerald Co-founder of the Smithtown Children’s Foundation

Just eight years ago, three Nesconset moms first met through a mutual desire to help Kaylee Rivers and her family through her battle with Cancer. Who would guess that one giant birthday party for a brave little girl and her sister, would bring three strangers together to conceive an organization, uniting community for a greater cause.   The Smithtown Children’s Foundation continues to honor  Kaylee Ann Rivers, after her passing in 2009. Rather than focusing on the tragedy of losing Kaylee, after a courageous bout with Cancer, the Kisses for Kaylee & Friends gala celebrates her legacy of caring and helping others. The proceeds from the annual event go towards Kaylee’s scholarship in addition to helping many other families during their time of need.
