It took Firefighters from nine departments to battle the blaze at the abandoned Kings Park Psychiatric Center yesterday. The call came in just before 7 am about a fire in building 44 of the complex which closed portions of Old Dock Road during the morning commute. Residents and witnesses expressed concern for an erroneous smell emanating from the blaze, given the original buildings were insulated with asbestos. The Arson Squad investigation is currently ongoing. No injuries were reported. ablaze
