Suffolk County Police Department Fourth Precinct liaison Captain Kevin Williams will present his monthly report during the town board meeting on Tuesday, June 12th at 2pm. Councilman Tom Lohmann’s monthly initiative will focus on recent Vape Shop activity, statistics on hot button topics such as illegal Foot & Massage Parlors, and Summer safety tips for families. Captain Williams will attend the afternoon town board meetings each month in an effort to inform the public and elected officials of ongoing issues that the precinct is addressing.
“Our first Precinct Report was a great success and well received by the community. Not only did we get a deeper understanding of the work and operations of local law enforcement… We got a number of calls from the community about issues that we could present to our liaison to resolve.” – Councilman Tom Lohmann
In addition to providing a report on school incidents and crime statistics for the 4th precinct, Captain Williams will give detailed information on reporting common seasonal violations such as dangerous backyard fireworks, noise complaints, and vandalism. Summer Safety tips will include vigilant guidance with regards to pool safety, vehicle/motorcycle safety, and distracted driving.
Residents who have questions they wish to be answered during this or other fourth precinct monthly reports should call ahead or email Councilman Tom Lohmann prior to presentation. Councilman Lohmann can be reached via email at twlohmann@tosgov.com or by calling 631-360-7621.
