Dig Pink with the Girls Volleyball County Champs

October is just a week away which means it’s time to Dig Pink. Coach Alamia and his 2013 County Champs, The Smithtown East Girls Volleyball Team, are kicking breast cancer awareness month off right!  Put your favorite Pink Shirts on and rally the troops for the Smithtown Subway Series of Volleyball; A DIG PINK FUNDRAISER for breast cancer.  That’s right… It’s a East Meets West Girls Volleyball match, happening Oct. 2nd at Smithtown West HS and and round 2 on Oct. 28th at Smithtown East HS. All fundraising efforts go to Dig Pink Side Out Foundation, which awards grants to medical research organizations providing patient services to breast cancer patients and their families.

We all know someone who has been affected in one way or another by Breast Cancer. Long Island has one of the highest rates of Breast Cancer, but we can help make a difference by coming out to support the Girls Volleyball Team On October 2nd and 28th, at 4pm.
