Smithtown High School East Graduate Earns Perfect Score on Advanced Placement Computer Science A Exam
Nicholas Pesce, a 2015 graduate of Smithtown High School East has earned a a top score of 5 (perfect score) on his Advanced Placement Computer Science A exam, which he took back in May 2015. Pesce, now a freshman at the University of Maryland, is one of 67 students worldwide out of some 4.5 million AP exams taken last year. In 2015 only 322 students earned a perfect score on an AP exam, out of 2.5 million public high schools in the Country.
