Comptroller Kennedy Speaks at the Teachers Federal Credit University Business Clinic

Suffolk County Comptroller John M. Kennedy, Jr. appeared as a keynote speaker during the quarterly Teachers Federal Credit University Business Clinic at the Teacher’s Federal Credit Union headquarters in Hauppauge. The event was filled with business owners and Long Island leaders of commerce, excited and willing to learn of cutting-edge trades and discussions, vital for a thriving business on Long Island.

“I was extremely honored to be selected as the keynote speaker at the Teacher’s business clinic today… With the continued efforts of Teachers to promote events like these for businesses, the business community can count on Suffolk County’s resources and support to encourage their continued success.” -Comptroller Kennedy

Comptroller Kennedy devoted a large portion of his time answering questions after his initial discussion. Many questions asked pertained to accessibility, public transportation,  attracting young talent to cut down on the brain drain and Suffolk County programs such as the Down Payment Assistance Program, for first-time home buyers.
