The Smithtown Town Council, Town Clerk, Highway Superintendent, and Receiver of Taxes are eager to announce a special back to school supply drive for disadvantaged children starting today. From Wednesday, August 22nd through Tuesday, September 4th, residents and businesses can drop off extra school supplies at Town Hall, Smithtown Parks Department, and Smithtown Highway Department buildings. School supplies will be collected and delivered to the Smithtown Children’s Foundation after the Labor Day Holiday Weekend.
Ways to Give Back:
If you are shopping for a child or grandchild and you have an extra notebook, ruler, backpack etc. and you want to give back, you may drop off the extra supplies in front of the Mailroom at Town Hall or at one of three designated drop off locations; Smithtown Town Hall, the Parks Department, or the Smithtown Department of Highways.
