Easy Peasy Spring Napkins

spring_decor4Find some old scrapbook paper, lying around and cut out simple Spring shapes (click here to download bunny rabbit’s, chicks, carrots and eggs). Place each shape on top of a cloth napkin and secure with napkin ring or a matching fabric ribbon.

DIY Spring Artwork

spring_decor1Cut out a piece of burlap so it fits the size of the picture frame you want to use. Place and tape a spring themed stencil on the burlap. Blot acrylic white paint on a sponge and gently press along the inside area of the stencil. Allow time to dry before placing the burlap inside the picture frame.

DIY Spring Centerpiece

spring_decor2Chose a base that works well with your Spring theme. An old wooden planter box, glass vase or decorative nest will work beautifully. Add a thin layer of soil to the bottom (an inch will do) and then fill with river stones or small decorative pebbles. Next tightly line spring bulbs (like mini daffodils, muscari, tulips) along the planter. Cover with floral moss. Optional: Add a few easter eggs or spring ornaments on top of the moss for an added touch!

3-Tier Spring Nest

spring_decor3Use a 2 or 3 tiered serving tray/cake stand to display Easter Eggs or create the perfect home accent. Arrange straw or moss around the base of each layer. Add anything from chocolates and peeps to ornamental grasses and colored eggs. Top with a pretty bow and display for all to admire.
