The 10th Annual Taste of Smithtown is back at Mercedes-Benz of Smithtown Showroom in collaboration with Elegant Eating. The foodie favorite night out, organized by Senior Resources of Long Island, is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 17th from 6PM – 9 PM.
Tickets for Taste of Smithtown cost $50 per person (plus a $3.49 online order fee). General admission includes a gourmet food tasting experience, featuring over 30 local restaurants & chefs, wine, music, chinese raffles, silent auction, cigars, 50/50 and a special Night out on the Town giveaway. The Night out on the town giveaway included a Dinner/Cooking Demo with Wine Pairing for 2 at Mosaic St James with limo service provided by M&V Limousine, valued at $500.
Filomena Lombardi’s latest brainchild, Farm to Table catering, the Brick-oven guru’s at Spuntino in St. James and the grape gods at Wölffer Estate Vineyard are just three of 30 plus local culinary businesses who have rallied together to support local charities and children. All of the proceeds from the evening will go to the Smithtown Children’s Foundation, the Smithtown Emergency Food Pantry & Gift of Life.
About the Causes
Gift of Life: a special non-profit organization dedicated to curing blood cancer through marrow donation. The Gift of Life foundation finds marrow matches for any patient in need throughout the Country.
Smithtown Children’s Foundation: A local organization that brings families, friends, neighbors and surrounding businesses together as one, providing financial and emotional support to local families during times of crisis.
Smithtown Emergency Food Pantry: , Seven church congregations within Smithtown began the emergency food pantry to provide food for residents who can not afford to feed their own families. They rely solely on the parishioners of their churches to help staff the pantry and assist in collecting food for residents in their time of need.
