The hamlets of Smithtown are buzzing with song all Summer. While concerts on the lawn in Nesconset and the Smithtown Library are happening on Tuesdays and Thursday, the hot ticket to the weekend is in Kings Park. Mark the Calendars for the next two months and treat the whole family to some or all of the free summer concert line-up, good food and plenty of fun under the stars!
Musical Moments Concert Series
Musical Moments, is a fun, free concert series that takes place every Friday evening through August 26th. The FREE concerts, provided by the Kings Park Chamber of Commerce, the Civic association and local businesses are open to the public and feature a variety of genres from local musicians. All concerts are from 7:30 p.m. till 9 p.m. at Russ Savatt Park on Main Street (next to Ralph’s Italian Ices) in Kings Park

It’s recommended that guests bring their own seating. Also, several Kings Park’s restaurants are offering specials on concert nights.
The Hot Summer Night Concert
Also on the Kings Park Summer Concert Line Up is a special “Hot Summer Night” event, featuring the Nationally acclaimed Elton John Tribute band; Rocket Man. Don’t miss the hottest Elton John Tribute show this side of the Atlantic. The Rocket Man show kicks off on Tuesday, July 26th starting at 4 PM, at the Kings Park Municipal Parking lot across from the Fire Department.
This concert, sponsored by St. Catherines of Sienna Hospital, is expected to draw of crowd of up to 1,000 fans. Rocket Man has played at renowned venues like BB King’s Clubs, House Of Blues and Hard Rock, portraying Elton John’s intense 70’s & 80’s concerts in every historic detail.
